Linda Young

Time: Noon -1pm
Linda grew up with an Estonian mother and grandmother, with singing a constant accompaniment to pretty much any activity in the home, and from an early age she was almost always humming or "leaking" music in one way or another. Despite a journey through the world of classical vocal training, she eventually she found her way back to the music she started with and loves most - folk, jazz, and country. Linda picked up the guitar and started performing as a singer-songwriter when she moved home to Vermont in 2011, and has since added folk harp to her instruments. She has a life-long love of the “Great American Song Book,” and acquired a fascination with the “Latin Songbook” during a decade living in California. Influences include Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Ella Fitgerald, Chet Baker, Nanci Griffith, Rani Arbo, Rhiannon Giddens, Gillian Welch, and Mercedes Sosa.

What Four

Time: 1-2pm
What Four:  Don Houghton and Ned Houston, who up to recently have been performing as ‘How Two’, have been joined by two new members - Craig Taylor on guitar, and Alan Turnbull on standup bass - to form a 4-member band we’re calling ‘What Four?’. Our repertoire includes songs from the folk, bluegrass and pop traditions,  songs that give us a chance to blend our instruments while we harmonize on the vocals. We’ve been told that we look like we’re having fun when we perform: for What Four?, that’s what it’s all about.

Jon Gailmor

Time: 2-3pm
“Jon's music appeals to children of all ages; from toddlers to grandmas and everyone in between. His lyrics are both timely and timeless. His enthusiasm for performing is totally infectious and being part of his audience means listening to wonderful singing and guitar playing, and just having a great time! ” Dave and Dana Hirth, Cliff Island, Maine
